SSA 15" icon

im thinking about getting a 15" SSA icon sub...i want to hear some pros and cons about this sub first though because i dont know much about it...any amount of help will be appreciated

Cons: Not Free.

I don't have a 15" model handy. But what are your goals for your install?

ssa would be a better place 2 ask, im more partial to the sundown z15 for 200 shipped on blowout right now

The ICON is an excellent SQ woofer and would do very well in a sealed box. All SSA woofer thrive in sealed boxes and will hit all the low notes.

In fact I went from a ported box to a sealed box with my XCONS and to the ear I didn't lose hardly anything. You wont be disappointed.

I have read posts that on more then one occasion denim recommed a different brand sub from a competitor if it was the correct solution for that person even on his home turf at SSA.
