yea, jfwy kickers are good , they just wont handle the abuse. the abuse of 800 rms going thru a 450 w sub:fro:

I abused the hell out of both L7s and Solo Xs for years and years. I've even tried to screw up my L7s for warranty as they changed the style on me, and couldn't get it done.

Cherokee, thanks for showing me that thread. It helped me to understand not to put any weight to anything else you ever post. You took 1 sub out, put 2x the RMS to it, more than likely wired it down below nominal operating resistance, then free aired it and cried when it popped. I've wired mine to a straight short and played below port frequency and couldn't get my L7s to pop.
