SQL: 2 10W6v2's or 12 idMAX

I've been in search of a set-up that will sound good while being quite loud and I've single it down to these 2 subs:

2 10" W6's in a sealed box, for now or a 12" idMAX

I'm not set on an amp so power isn't much of a factor here. These are going to be placed in the trunk of a 2001 Honda Civic.

um i liked the id max 12. i've heard quite a few compared to the w6's. bra grab the idmax. you'll be happy with them. the w6 in many setups did not have much output and the sound quality wasn't as good as i've heard. i'd say idmax for sure

yeah bra. oahu. i've heard the idmax's and they're great. they sound really good. never heard anybody make a w6 sound good. i've felt like the w3 sounded better than the w6 and got louder

Probably never heard one set-up pretty good. I used to have one and it sounded good, the only problem to me was it didn't get as loud as I was hoping.

oh yeah i know what you mean. yeah my friend had 2 of them and they sounded really good and got decently loud. yeah have u thought about purchasing 2 of them?

I'd definitely do the w6s.... In that budget, depending on what you are looking to do, you have endless options.

I'd go with 2 10W6V2s over 1 IDMAX 12.

2 10w6v2 would dominate the IDMAX

w6v2 is the best driver I have ever heard, period.

get a mono amp. one that'll do 1000wrms would be perfect. post a budget and you'll get some help on that to. personally, i like sundown so i'd buy a sae1000d.
