I say old chap, the Mag does have some good attitude, seem to be a good fit for what your looking for.

that sub model is alost 5 yrs old dude the new pwh model is the same price with a 3 yr warranty at http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17698 and they require less space and have a much lower f3 than the old e series did.

and the pwh 302 dvc 2 ohm model we ran 4 in a 6 cf sealed box off a 2010d amp @1ohm (500 rms to each sub) and broke 145 before major tuning and sounded awesome doing it. I never thought Id say I liked anything mbquart better than the 555 ovals but these are the real deal man. they will run off as little as 200 watts and still slam and they are priced right. your electrical should be fine with a decent battery and the BIG3 maybe an extra hc600 or 800 at the amp.

Well guys I got some bad news. Got to work this morning and they had a meeting informing they were cutting our pay 25%. So I really appreciated all the help picking out the new system I can no longer afford. I was really getting into the idea of 4 mags to.

Hey guys, still been looking into how I can do a nice system on a much lower budget. What do you guys think about the RE SR series I can get 4 of these for under 400 bucks on ebay instead of 1000 for 4 mags. Only need around 1200 watts total and rated for small sealed boxes.

Why not just run 2 mags instead of 4???? Or just look around the forums and find a single 15" Mag v2, IMO the best series thus far.

Can't do a 15 no room. With the new budget from pay cut looking to get the best deal I can on the best equipmet I can and still be fairley cheap. 2 mags would still be 500, and im really set on a 4 sub system. I really wanted the mags , but I think I need to look in another direction since the system budget just got ***** by the wife. So what do you think about the sr's?

SRs are decent lil subs, heard em in a couple setups but wasnt really all that impressed. Just didn't think of then as an RE sub when i heard em or saw them. Idk why they just seemed cheep to me.

Why not just get sum used SEs instead?? They have very good SQ and can take a beating for a relatively cheap sub.
