SQ in my buick??

So here is the scoop , 95 2 door buick.

Looking for Pretty Decent SQ without going too far out of pocket.

So Far I have this stuff (it's all for sale right now but i don't forsee it selling anytime soon)

HU = Excelon X589 Or Troll Face's Alpine 9855

Tweeter / Midrange Amp = Sony XM-5540F

Midbass amp = Sony XM-5540 Bridged To 2 Channels

Bass Amp = Phoenix Gold XS2200

Preamp/EQ = PPI PAR-225

Crossover = JBL GTX47 (4 way Active)

I Have All This But Absolutly No Speakers Worth Mentioning. So heres What I'm Thinking about doing.

If i do it , i will definetly do a build log. it won't be till spring though. Gotta get a new motor in the car first , by then i will have a little cash put back to play with. Only need $550 for all the speakers , but i don't wanna do it till i know the new (used) motor is gonna hold up.

Sure it does. It's somewhat hard to obtain in a car but it's possible. I wouldn't ever consider my car to be a "SQ Car" but i think it will sound nice. Plus it's already pretty **** quiet inside with the windows up. And even with the stock speakers in it now , imaging is pretty nice.

You have the speakers backwards. You have midbass in the kicks, and midrange in the doors. Not only is midrange more localized, midbass speakers will want either infinite baffle in the doors, or fairly complicated ported or aperiodic membrane installs in the kicks. In other words, midbass in the doors, midrange in the kicks. Also put the tweets in the kicks, and blank out the factory door holes.

Not even going that route anymore , just doing active midbass in doors and tweeters in doors too.
