Sq/In for 12" Fi Q's

I’m looking for some suggestions on my next box build. I have designed and constructed many boxes for myself and forum member (for this and other forums), usually based on vender specs, members targets (ie net volume and tuning freq) and sometimes buy the use of winisd.

Right now I have a set of 12” Fi Q’s that I am designing a box for that will be 5 cu/ft net @ 32hz. This is where I need some suggestions. How many sq/in of port should I be targeting?

Right now I have a port that is 6” x 10” x 25” to give me my 32Hz.

I would go for about 70. I put 60 to my q15 in 4 cubes @ 30, you'll have a little more linear displacement than me and twice the thremal capacity and a bigger box.

I have 36sqin for my 1 12" Q and I have no distortion/port noise. I'd guess that 30 sqin of port per sub wouldn't be much worse.

31.25sq" is enough for my mt12
