when burning a CD is there a difference is SQ between a burned audio cd, burned mp3 cd, or a burned data cd? i know to get best sq you should listen to the original CD(non burned) and i have plenty of them.. but i like putting all my fav. songs from each CD to make one really good burned CD.

i can choose from the top three: audio, mp3, or data

which is best? or is there no differnce

when burning a cd you want to look for the least compressed song for good sound.

so for example song A runs at 24 bits per second and song B runs at 192 ....song b will pawn song a

mp3's are the worst i have been told for quailty due to the compressed nature and low bit rate

mp3 cd IS a data cd. Same thing.

So your options are non-compressed (maybe fit 15-20 songs in it) files on a cd or mp3 cd's. To answer your question, the uncompressed cd will sound better (given they are uncompressed songs, not mp3s converted to cd format).

What slaugh said is correct.

It's all compressed. To have the most accurate sound you would need to have copies at the highest bps, which for most things I think is around 320 or so.
