I got a quick question I am looking at getting either the Samsung Rant phone or the LG Rumor.

Like to know and pros and cons of both.

What I do know is I am not impressed with Samsung so far. I got my daughter a M300 and it gets real hot after talking for a few minutes or if its on charge. Texting sucks on it.

Now my ex wife had the Rumor when it first came out. She was on her 3rd one within 2 months. It would just shut off when your texting or sending a text. Now I dont know if that is a common issue or what.

But I dont want another Samsung phone if its going to be getting hot like these ones do now.

I am looking at one of these 2 also to replace my Treo650 as I dont want to pay $180 for a Centro.

not neccessarily answering your question, but I recently moved from a treo 700w/x to a Blackberry 8830. Blackberry makes an awesome phone, I'll never get another treo.

I've had the Rumor since August, haven't had any problems with mine...about the only complaint I have is the little cover that goes over the power connector is incredibly flimsy, surprised I haven't broken it off yet. But as far as the operation of the phone goes, I haven't had any problems...

I wanted to try one but when I renewed my contract I dodnt have the money to buy it. Now only thing they are doing after fighting with them is give me fully price credit toward a new phone. So what ever thier retail is I knock 220 off of it. So this would be over $300 I pay. I usually do thats where I got my treo and alot of others. But I had to renew my contract to get a better price and figured why not get new phones. But had I known the quality of the M300 I wouldnt of bothered.

kenny, i have a rumor, **** thing shuts off all the time, wife has same phone, same problem. I am on my 6th one. atleast they overthecounter warranty the thing.
