I'll be headed out to see the Braves vs Dodgers this Sunday. Neither one are my teams, but I'm taking a friend out for his birthday. He's a die hard Braves fan. I happen to be a Chicago White Sox fan and I hold bragging rights for at least a year.

I'm going to see the Phillies in Clearwater Florida over my birthday next week. My birthday is on the 29th, but I'm going to see the Phillies vs. Indians on the 27th.

I'm a HUGE braves fan(laugh if you wish), have fun at the game! I go to a lot of Single A Braves games in Rome, GA. I saw Jeff Francoeur play then(2003), he's a talented kid. He was a centerfielder at the time, but plays rightfield now since Atlanta kinda has CF covered by a multiple gold glove winner

I'm going to see a cards game in the brand new Busch stadium. its gonna rock plus i think the cards have a good chance of going to the series AND not getting swept lol

I live Fort Myers so I've been to see 3 Red Sox Games and 2 Twins games so far.... I get freebies from my friends who have seasonal tickets. Oooh the Yankees are coming to town this Friday to play the Sox, can't wait for this one. There is nothing like getting drunk during a March Spring Training game in Florida...

the off season is roughly 4-5 months. season ends in october and players start reporting to camp around february. spring training doesn't start til march.

btw, your blue jays spent a couple of pretty pennies on some players in the off season.

It's hard to believe the Blue Jays used to be the best in the AL back in the early 90's. They had Olerud, Alomar, Joe Carter, Molitor, etc... They beat my Phillies in the '93 series. I was so pissed that the Phillies blamed it on Mitch Williams and basically gave up on their roster. They had such a good roster for having a bunch of hilbillies. Dykstra, Duncan, Morandini, Daulton, Kruk, Hollins, Inchavilia, and they had the pitching with Schilling and a nice set of bullpen guys.
