Well I went today despite coming down with the flu last night. A friend, my kid, and I were right behind home plate. There was some fat hillbilly moron yelling some of the stupidest things I've ever heard. He kept calling Rafael Furcal an alcoholic, told nomar garciappara if he ate his hamm sandwich this morning, then kept saying screw you jd drew. It got kind of aggravating after hearing the same thing repeated everytime, not to mention this idiot didn't speak english very clearly. Sounded like he was drunk and slurring his speech. Quite a few people started saying shit to him when he said something about JD drew drinking his mama's ***, and then he calmed down a bit after that. He kept yelling things to JD drew even when he was in right field. As if jd drew could hear him that far away. Anyhow, after not picking up a baseball in 7 years, I managed to hit 59 mph on the radar gun. I think the gun is off a bit, the closest to me was 48, and most grown ups were hitting hte low 40's. I hit 54 quite a few times, and hit 56 once. My slowest out of 9 pitches was 49. Anyhow it's back to bed for me.

I would definitely would be offended, especially if there are any youngsters listening to that shyt!

I miss playing baseball...I use to play little league.

Fastest I ever got clocked at was 86 my junior year. Then I screwed around and didn't get conditioned my senior year and I was consistently throwing 78-80 with a top speed around 83. Towards the end of the year my junior year I had the second lowest ERA on the east coast of FL. I believe it included over 10 counties. But then I pitched a couple games against some teams in the top 10 in the state and it went above 1.00. I was tempted to tell the guy to stfu and choke on a hot dog, but I didn't want any problems. I don't need to go to jail.

The guy that ran the radar gun says he rarely gets anyone that hit's 50+. So I know it's off.
