Central Region SPLMAX CUP results from 7/12 and standings

[SPLMAX - Sam 10+ year member]

Jason Munns put on one hella of show at HIFI connection Taylor MI on Julty 12. With close to 90 entries in dB Drag and Bass Race made for an exciting show. Heavy downpour in the morning delayed the show for 2 hours.

There were 44 Bass Race entries. Of course the top competitors in the region showed up to compete. Several drove close to 300 miles. Region 5 is averaging 34 competitors per event.

Fred Schwartz from Ohio won the 149.9 class and took home the big money.

Adam Trifonoff won his 7th straight SPLMAX cup event in the 129.9 class

Nick Probst finished 2nd again (yet to have a SPLMAX CUP victory)

Steve Mick won the 149.9 class

Team Roadquake - with another 139.9 victory has moved up into the Top 10

Quite possibly the best show I have been to all year. Huge turnout, and all the classes were very competive. Very Nice to win some $ for 149.9 Bass Race, and take 2nd in SS NW.

thanks man. I'm probably going to bump up to 4 15's soon. Gotta get more headroom for 49 class at finals. Your numbers aren't bad either.

i just keep having problems.

after i ran against you in that final bassrace run was pretty baffled why wide open i couldn't climb any faster than a tenth or two every 4 seconds...

then after i only did a 146 opened up i opened my hatch to figure out if something went wrong. sure enough there was a port laying against the hatch. ripped the duct tape right off.

I'm more consistent in the 139 class, since its such a pain to see the leader board in 149 with how bad my widsheild flex's.

Sorry to hear about the port problems, I hate aeros for that reason.

4 15's in that explorer with hard to contend with, I thought about going the same route with my explorer but I am in the process of selling it now, to help fund another project I am working on. Good luck this weekend in Wickliffe.
