split ohms?

Hey, I was wondering if it's possible to run some components at two ohms off of the front two channels of an amp and then run a sub bridged at four ohms off of the back two channels? The components are id cxs62v2 and the sub is an old school type r 4 ohm svc. I want to run the 2 ohm version of the id's so I don't have to break the bank getting an amp that is powerful enough and don't want to have to run two amps. This might be a dumb question but it's something I can never get a clear answer on. Any info is appreciated.

Should work just fine.

The MB Quart DSC4125 might be what you're looking for. It'll do 125 x2 @ 4 ohms + 500 x1 @ 4 ohms. It's cheap too.

EDIT: Just noticed you want 2 ohm comps. The DSC4125 is rated for 250 x2 @ 2 + 500 x1 @ 4...

any suggestions for around $300-350? The comps will handle up to 175rms according to id's site and the type r is rated at 500 i think.
if youve got 300-350 to work with and dont want to run two seperate amps, you can surely find a 5 channel amp with that budget and that will suit you perfect.

well i wasnt planning on running anything in the back but the stockers off of the hu for now but the extra channels wouldnt hurt incase i wanna throw something back there later on.

That's the thing is I had this bright idea and got a hell of a deal on these id's before i knew if it was possible to do what i wanted to do. i seen em and got excited and bought em lol
