Splicing?

I have a 1/0 wire run to my trunk. This is more than I need, but I had it so I used it. I want to move my stuff around in the trunk and the location of my capacitor can't really be moved because there isn't enough slack in my trunk. I've got 2 fuse blocks which accept 4ga and output to 8ga. I'm looking for a cost effective way to move the Capacitor, but this means a spliced wire or buy some new Fuse block for $50.

Open to suggestions.

considering the size of the wire and since all you want to due is hook it to the capacitor I suggest using a power line adaptor and some huge shrink tubing.

the adaptor looks like this

you should be able to find one big enough for the a four and 1/0 to both fit in. then just cover the whole thing in shrink and use a torch to shrink it over, its cheap, but works.
