Splicing 1/0 ?

Is there any realistic, practical, safe way to splice 1/0 wire, or should I sell what I have and get more?

I only put the wire to under the rear seat, and now I need to add a second battery; I only need that extra 2 feet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

sure, add a fused 1/0 block, and buy a 2 ft length to go to the batt?
Talk about a mind blank. Forgot about the 2nd fuse //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Looks like I'll be just fine.

since we are on the subject, do you guys fuse your amps from the 2nd battery even if its less than 1-1.5 ft away from the 2nd battery? i just bought 3 more fuseholders for it and i feel like its an overkill. but it may be necessary?

unfortunately it is nessessary. god forbid there's a car accident adn somehow that power wire starts grounding out......it'll save you from an exploding battery
