Spl: W6- Type R- RFT1

I dont care too much about price, but out of A 12" JL W6, a 12'' Rockford T1, or Alpine Type R, what would you say has the Highest SPL. (in a ported Box) with 500 Rms going to it

i would vote for the w6 if it was the v2 first then the t1 followed by the type r. but it would be a toss up if you were comparing the w6v2 and a t2

its a race between t1 and type r. IMO the w6 does hit nice for the amount of watts it asks for. but my final judgement would have to be t1!

Well when i had my 12 w6v2 on my old Tma 500.1 amp (500rms) it was louder and got deeper than my friends' 12 punch 3 and a 12 mtx 8000 sub all running around 500 watts or more and all ported....it gets really loud with only 500 rms!!..now its on 700-800 rms and its even louder now wont recommend more than that though its in a 2.0 cuft box tune @ 31hz...btw personally i think the other drivers can handle and get louder than the w6 but how they sound doin it is another story...

yea i hope the T1 is louder, cuz i really dont want ot have to pay for a W6

yea your right, it was stupid of me to compare JLW6 with them, it would have been more fair to say W3's instead

So most ppl think that a rpcfor t1 would be louder, huh.. would a JL W3v3 13.5" be louder than the T1?
