SPL, type R vs S

lookin for mostly spl now, which would you do:

2 12in. type rs ported

or

4 12in. type s' sealed

both will be off either a PA 1250D or D1200.1.

also, would one 15in. 8500 ported be able to hang?

an 8515 ported will wang, but not keep up with two 12 R's. I had an SX15 ported and went to two 12 R's ported. The two 12's take the crown. But as they say, no displacement for displacement.

I myself ran into the same delimma. Almost. Two 12 R's ported or 3 S's Sealed. I have no idea for you on this. I dont believe anyone has had any experiences with the both of them to compare

i'd go wit the Rs ported. S would put up a better number ported. but for ya choices, the 2 12s ported

would i be better off gettn a BX1500D/1605D or a D1200.1, as u can see im tryna get a cheap reliable amp that would put out around 1200wrms. I would prolly buy the PA 1250D if its wat im lookin for. (Good Price)

the 1605d is a nice amp, but i'd look into sumthin better if u can. like said the PA or the 1200d would be ya best choice for some good power
