i really don't know much about big spl subs... but i want to know how do a pioneer 5000spl compare to a MT, DD, solo x, etc?

i'm a big fan of pioneer's subs and the 5000spl is the only model i haven't heard.

Most threads i've read about pure SPL always mentions how good the DD's are, as well as Mmats(i think i spelled that right) you might check them out.

the brand matters slightly less than the skills onhand, and the application thereof..

any of those mentioned drivers can do a fine job.. its all about the install...

my 18" tc 4hp custom built for spl put it in a 4 cu ft box with as much power as you got and hold on. Oh and its only $400 shipped .. hardly used.
