SPL Port

I have 2-15" Planet FU-15-4's in a 6.4cu tuned to 38hz daily and 53hz for spl.

I had my car metered on the termlab first tuned to 38hz(143.8) then tuned to 53hz(144.5) playing a 53hz tone.

Why is there such a small difference in SPL between the two ports?

When your up in 143's 1db is actually alot for just a tuning change. Adding subs, Amps, Batterys, alt. will get better results. Sound deadening, sealing the car better.
