Supposed to be comparable to the TermLab. I was going to do side by side comparisons, but got lazy. I paid $80 shipped, I want $65 shipped. It is brand new and never been used. Good for 186db's, this is not like an Audiocontrol:rolleyes:

This is an interesting looking device.. Does it have a name or a model, or is just made by some mad scientist in his basement? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you hook up your DMM to it, set it on mV and get a reading. then you take that reading and it will correspond to a DB level on the disk is a chart plus all kinds of test tones and sweeps, very easy to use and as close to a pricey TL for way cheaper. i've used this plenty of times and a TL is usually within .5 of a DB. so not real accurate, but you can get an accurate guess
