SPL for Ford Ranger ext cab

yeah I heard about that truck. I am working with one 18". I was planning on sub forward, port up. I'm trying to decide on placement of sub and port however. I was thinking sub firing into passenger seat and port on driver's side. Any thoughts?

Side fire the port. Stick to that single 18, it will work out better on music than 3 15's ever could.
side fire port was actually quiter on the TL but seemed louder to my ear. currently i have single 15 setup sub on passenger side port up right behind my head lol. i went for a slanted front face box as im a tall guy and most boxes are big as fawk and bulky in the back of the poor truck

watch urself jackoff huh? lol jk. those meca titles with a ranger?
and op also remember you need to make sure you have a fully sealed vehicle. i found my rear window was a ***** to get to fully seal up and not have any leaks... a good amount of deadner with sum sludge should do the trick

It can vary from truck to truck too. Me and my buddy once had the same body style Ranger, but he had to set his box up differently. The exact same box would do totally different scores when we swapped them from truck to truck.
