SPL Estimate

hey everybody

does anyone have any idea what kind of spl I could expect out of the following system if installed in my 94 Grand Prix se:

-2 JL 12W0 4 ohm

-jbl p180.2 amp, one sub per channel

-sealed, partitioned box, each partition giving each sub a qtc of 0.9, firing backwards

-Phoenix gold pld1 line driver

-Poweramper 1F Cap.

-JVC KS-SX980 with 2V preout

-Pioneer TS-A6956 6x9s powered by Legacy LA360

Just curious. Any comments are welcome.

im guessing low 130s...not very loud. that's not really an SPL system at all.

Yeah, I know it won't be anything great, but being a college student has its financial downfalls when looking for decent equipment. How would the 12w0's off the jbl amp be for SQ with the qtc at 0.9 though?

have you considered anything besides the W0s? there are much better options out there for the money.

i would definitely look into getting a SINGLE sub setup with a decent sub, instead of two not so great subs in a double subwoofer setup.

Yeah, I'm pretty much stuck on the W0s. I don't have many options in Saskatchewan, Canada, and the cost of shipping from the US would drain some serious cash. But those e12k's look pretty sweet, I've never seen such a cheap sub with that kind of xmax. I actually had a 12W0 before and thought it sounded alright for me until (I think) my amp put some pure DC through it and fried the coil. I explained that problem in another post too, but, just for a better chance of figuring out the amps problem, does anyone know of anywhere I could get my hands on a schematic for a JBL P180.2?
