I need a Termlab or Audiocontrol.

Termlabs are alil pricey and I dont have a laptop... so prolly a audiocontrol.

I did see an introductory price to a termlab of 249 .. Maybe that was just the usb?? If so you could at least stick it on your windshield and pretend like its reading something.../??

Who said ANYTHING about 240 as a price? WTF? Where are you guys getting this price from?

I said half of the 680 you paid which would make it 340 but I mean 375-400 would still be ok. so where did this 240 come from?

If you compete its up to you.. Whats the point in being a penny pincher when noone on this or many other ca forums give you much or any credibility unless its a TL meter.. Sorry i just dont see why you want a false score?? what s the point, if your in ca forums and want to give ppl an accurate spl score ( or for yourself ) buy what ppl can relate to.. Not something that has no credibility

and that doesnt even have the SPL sensor...you have to buy it, the reason the AC is so expensive is that its an RTA also

x2 and is used by many fewer organizations and imo not as accurate anyways

And the shows around here use Audio control mics I have yet to use a TL and i have gone to a good deal of shows.

But you can only buy what you can afford?

I hope your not "making fun of me" cause my choice is to get a lower quility... well its all I can afford and something is better then nothing.

My score my not be exact and as accurate as what it would be on the TL but at least an "idea" is better then a "guess".

Funny that statment maybe true for you... for me totally false. I have easily been to over 20 shows (last yr) and never once used a TL. They ONLY had a AC mic, and these were shows that had IASCA judges doing this not like some random people with a mic.

The reason the TL is cheaper in price is because you have to have a laptop which ususally run in the 800 dollar range...where as the Audiocontrol is a standalone unit.

Well like I said ive got 400 bucks basicly.

If you spent 680 on it shipped for it new. And im looking for a used one I dont think 400 bucks is that bad of a price to offer for a USED TL then.

The AC is the meter for IASCA...where as the TL is the official meter for USACi DBdrag, and MECA...Plus its alot more accurate.
