SPL comps coming soon! need tips

Hey Im sortof a noob to the audio comptetion world. I havent been to any comps yet but I plan on checking one out and then start taking my system down to em just for fun. I was wondering if you guys could give me any tips? Also I was wondering what I would hit? I got 2 12" Kicker comps in a 3.0244 ft3 sealed enclosure running off a Power Acoustik TS620-2 amp. Its installed into a 94" Pontiac Bonneville, I can remove the entire rear seat in 2 minutes though. Thanks for anything. Aphix.

What sanctioning org's are local to you?

That's going to determine exactly how you set things up, what to go for, etc...

Just local stores like Stereo West or Metro Audio. I dont think IASCA comes to nebraska lol.

Perhaps USACi goes up that far? I don't know...

Local sound-offs aren't really something you can approach with any sort of consistency, of course //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif They're making up the rules as they go along, so take advantage of every little thing you can get.

If it's just local stuff, go to one(at least) and see HOW they run...sub size, amp size, power classes, etc. then we can assist you in getting the most out of your setup.

S*** thats still alot louder than I thought it would be. I guess theres one show in Omaha that USACI does.
