SPL advice needed for my hatchback

so youre basicaly changing the tuning that the enclosure was designed for by having it so close. yeah it may sound good or ok. but im sure if you give it over 5.5" of clearance it would sound the way it was designed for.

My mag and port are facing towards the hatch. Port is on drivers side, sub is on passenger side. Sounds great, all though i am not concerned with hitting hte most deebeez possible.

hmmmm...interesting......rightn ow my daily box has sub and port on same side...ill try letting that fire up and see how it sounds for shits and giggles and compare it to how it soudns when firing back....there's like 3inches clearance at most between the sub and the hatch door. now if i fire it up there will be more room and i can slide it closer to the back, or close to the seats with the seats up (and there being a gap between the back hatch door and the box). if it gets louder ill figure out a way to build a sliding port baffle to change my tuning freq to what i need for comps, thatd be nicer then building a whole new box....IF it sounds louder that way...need a meter....

again, my hatch isnt shallow angeled (45 degree ish), more of a 90 degree angle ish.....hopefully my new top willc ome soon aso i can dick around with it and see whats best.....
