I'll keep that in mind of I'm out that way again. Last week it was all business. This week we'll have zero down time. I do expect to get out there more often because that's where the corporate office is now.

the chicago museum of science and industry has one of the worlds largest model railroad layouts, a captured german u-boat, massive lego structures, robotics, a fabrication exhibit using 3d printing and laser cutting with the latest engineering software, flight and ride simulators, the henry crown space center,... alll kinds of stuff prime for tech-savvy patrons to literally interact with. it's one of my favorite places in the world, and it's pretty immersive.

the aquarium is probably the best place in illinois to drop some acid or go to after a doobie session right there on the lakefront to see aquatic life forms in their habitat from across the globe,.. if it gets boring, the adler planetarium and the field museum of natural history is right next to it.
