Fair enough AH, the truth is I don't have to stoop to your level so it really didn't matter what you said. I disagree that your post in any way adressed why the traffic on the forum has slowed to a trickle:

If it was not the car audio content of this site that built its population, but instead was the random bannings, rude moderators, hijacked accounts and subsequent chaos, and all the other crap that use to go on here that brought in the masses, then why isn't crunktimes.com, the website specifically made to transfer that attitude and even the people/moderators over to it, bigger?
Is everyone happy that the moderators are now more responsible, mature, friendly, and held accountable for their actions? Obviously not. But I think its fair to say most people visit a site called caraudio.com to discuss car audio, not to act like a bunch of sophomores hanging out behind the bleachers. I have no issue with people acting that way, its the people who are mad because they can no longer act that way here that have the issue.

But, Im not at all interested in entering into a debate with you whether or not Goob was justified to reign in the previous moderators. If you think its acceptable to log on to the largest car audio website on the internet, and find its being run like a classroom full of pissed off and horny special-needs children with no adult supervision, then there is no way you and I will ever find common ground. I respect your opinion, I just dont agree with it.

What level is my level exactly? Lets remember that this interaction between you and me started with you, by vaguely accusing me of having something to hide. While Im the one saying things like: "I respect your opinion, I just dont agree with it", so its a little late for you to try and take the highroad now. If me not liking your approach, that approach, is somehow disrepecting you, in your opinion, then Id suggest you take a look in the mirror. Respect is a two way street. Give it, if you are going to expect it.

As for why the people left, people have left for many reasons. Some left BECAUSE of the immature atmosphere that this site acquired, and yes some left because that atmosphere has been/is being changed. You have implied only one of those is the cause, reality is its both. But more importantly than why people left, is why they will return. And why new members will show up, and stay. They will show up, return, and stay, NOT because the mods are swell guys that will ban someone just to make their click of friends laugh. Those days are gone, deal with it. They WILL show up, and stay, because we do/will/are working more towards offering a mature atmosphere where like-minded car audio enthusiasts are welcome to discuss car audio topics of their choice.

The guys who are too butthurt to come back because they cant say the N word, cant troll the welcome new members section for their own personal amusement any more, or laugh when their favorite mod goes on a rampant banning spree for a few laughs... are the guys this site doesn't want back any way. There are plenty of car audio enthusiasts out there who can express themselves, without sounding like they suffer from tourette's syndrome, to fill this site to capacity. The rest of the people... I wish well finding a site that better offers what they are looking for.
