Price/performance wise, what would be the best bet?

Only reason I'm thinking is I saw the sicon build and he used like 5-7 layers of v3. That's got to be a LOT of deadener. I'm just wondering how spectrum or even better, sludge, would work against it.

On the site, I saw sludge is good for 1-4mm thick.

Also, how well would v3 dampen vibrations? I would assume not much but I've never seen any of it in person.

I have not used the spectrum. However I have used the sludge. This stuff is awesome. You only need one layer. It is so thick. It is so thick you have to paint it on so it does take some work though. I would think if you could swing it go w/ the sludge and you can save some money by getting there b-stock stuff also.
