My uncle has 2 of those subs...but arent the XLC version just regular punch...what are the specs on the 12inch model...

He will give them to me for free...i want to put them in a vented enclosure...so if u have specs or recommended specs...that would help as well

Thanks!

4 ohm....punch....

not he...dvc....or xlc...just the base punch model 12inches 4 ohm
If it isn't the DVC or XLC, then it pretty much has to be the Punch Z... but without a model number, it's impossible to know for sure. Here are the specs for the 12" 4-ohm Punch Z's, but it would be wise to check the backs of the subs for a model number to verify...

It says punch on the middle of the speaker...so im pretty sure its the Punch Model....

But whats the wattage on the sub u gave me specs for....it doesnt have a wattage rating(peak and a rms)

Since 'peak' and 'max' specs are worthless, you can assume that the power handling (Pe) is RMS.

If there is not a 'Z' under the PUNCH on the cone, then it probably is not a Punch Z.

So really, without pulling the woofer out of the box and getting a model number, it's impossible to know which model it is... RF changed models frequently.

Thanks...

How do you think the output would be on those in a vented box tuned to 33hz.. giving them 150 watts a piece?
