Waddup playas, so I just had a pioneer 1200x4 amp installed in my car the other day(GM Dx874?). I got after market basic focal components in the front and coaxial’ in the back. When I turn the music up on my Pioneer Headunit(AVH-1800) the front speakers will play up to about 15-17 and then cut out completely if I play it higher than that but will come back on when i lower it again. The rears however don’t get affected. I checked the RCA’s and wires on the amps and in the back of the head unit. Any ideas what it could be?

Lowering the impedance will also lower the speakers motor control, or damping, in physics no free lunch exists. It’s all give and take.
