So I recently bought a 97 Ford ranger and I would like to put a new sound system in it in the near future. I did some research and it has 4 6x8 speakers in it. I just got a really nice bluetooth pioneer deck so all I need is some nice speakers to go with. My deck gives off about 14rms to each channel so I'm probably gonna need an amp to go with the speakers as most nice speakers require 50+rms to get optimal sound. So I'm looking for 4 good speakers and possibly an amp for around 200-250, any help is greatly appreciated!

You could do the 8" as a front sub on its own amp and use it to bridge/enhance the gap between your 12" in the rear to the midranges

Sorry, didn’t watch the video the first time for some reason. Supper helpful video. I will try that. I guess the RMS rating is oversimplified...

Dammned good speakers. Just pass up the CL series, and you will be pleased with CDT speakers. I still enjoy all mine. Polk MM series and Infinity...

Yes. Only thing is the leads will be encased in resin. Keep in mind that this is an assumption.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
