my new speakers have no + or - marked on speakers how do i find which is which

take a D or C sized battery and tape 2 pieces of speaker wire to each end...then touch each of the terminals w/ one of the wires....which ever connection causes the speaker to move out not inward is the setup that would determine which is + or - look on the battery and it will tell you which is which
