SPAM Msgs from random spam bots on msn, how do I get rid of?

Just got my computer formatted like a month ago. And ever since I got live messenger I get messages on my msn from spam bots or people talking about *** and what not that are not on my list, spam messages. How do I stop them form coming in? I s there an option or a way to detect where it is.

I have ad-aware and spybot search and destroy and they dont find anything

They just come randomly, obivously from bots off the net, promoting sites, ****, dating sites etc

if I leave it on overnight, there will be like 12 of the messages

I get them too, i just ignore it, doesn't really bother me.

Well it kinda does bother me cause i hear them in the middle of the night when I forget to log ogg, and my sister uses this ocmputer from time to time, ned to get them off.

Anyone know how or what

don't leave it on for prolonged periods, they just sit on teh MSN homepage and when an active thign that says so and so is online now they message you.

Mute all sounds, that's what I do, then it never bothers me.
