length of windings is 2 - 7/8" overall length of former is 5 - 5/8" as original from Soundstream. What are you reconing?

where did u get all of those clamps at you used for the recones?

harbor freight. 75 one inch clamps. just start by placing them on oposing sides and work in a patern like torqing lug nuts or a manifold. no weight on the coil or cone to get it off axis and even pressure is applied where the sub will be at rest.
