Yes it's cheap vs. cheap.... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif Im curious about peoples opinions on these two. The system in question will have a small two channel for front stage and a big bridged two channel for the sub stage. The amps need to match. So between these two could I please get some experiences and opinions as far as sound quality and realiability. Thanks guys and gals!

Well Im looking @ 80wrms per channel front and 600wrms to the sub. Im not looking for perfection here just been looking at these two brands and Im just trying to get a budget system together. Nothing crazy Ive got a bunch of other things to spend money on. Im tired of Frankenstien systems and well you know...

I've had experience with 4 a/b vibe amps. The only one that has given me any trouble is one I bought used off ebay - it still works, but occasionally one of the channels drops out - ~10% of the time.

Judging by the pics on ampguts I wouldn't be surprised if they come from the same factory.

Worst thing about the lanzars IMO is how poorly they're rated.

The 231 for example rated at 200x2 @ 4 and 350x2 at 2 with a 25A fuse. Realistically probably 100x2/150x2.

I got one of these use off ebay for $40 for my crapper DD, http://www.lanzar.com/itempage.asp?model=VIBE268 I think it says 1000w rms bridged, well I know it isnt 1000w, more like 700 or 800, but for the price it still was a good buy, I even ran it 2ohms mono for like 2 mths, it got a little warm but it never shut off and never blew any fuses. It pounded a single MTX Thunder 8000 pretty **** good too.

someone on here had a 268 tested a year or two ago. It was 923w at 14v if IIRC. Surprised me too, especially with 2x30A fuses.

It was going for $110 at milliobuy for a while, and at the time was one of the better deals out there.

Probably the exception rather than the rule.
