Soundstream Van Gogh VS PG Titanium

Hey, I've had some trouble with my PG titanium amps. I've had a lot of thermal problems with my ti800.1. I'm thinking about shipping it back to PG and have them fix it again then buying selling it along with my ti500.4 on ebay. The soundstream Van Gogh amps look pretty good as far as I can tell. I've never messed with them before so can I get some feed back about them? I don't want to buy something then have it break. I'm thinking about replacing my pg amps with...

ti800.1 -> SOUNDSTREAM VGA1600.2

it's about twice the power with only 10 extra amp draw...

ti500.4 -> SOUNDSTREAM VGA500.4

it's about 125x4 at 4 ohm... my current ti500.4 is 75x4

I'm thinking about buying this stuff from Discount electric. Has anyone dealt with that website?

Does anyone recommend any other amps? I have dual IDmax 12s d2. That means dual 2 ohm coils. I can either wire the subs at 4 ohm or 1 ohm alone and .5, 2, 8 ohm if wired together... it has to be under 10x20x4 widthxlengthxheight. My budget is about 400 and I want it to give each sub at least 600wrms... I'd prefer 800wrms or more. Anyways, let me know my options!

I think I'm going to go with 2 Vangogh 500.4's I can run the mids at 125x4 @ 4 ohm and the subs at 500x2 @ 4 ohm. That's probably my best bet for the money I want to spend... I'm still open to other ideas
