Soundstream TA1.3000D... Any good?

I bought this amp from a buddy of mine and now I'm second guessing myself. It bumped 2 12 w7's pretty good, but now that I'm overlooking this amp I'm thinking Soundstream's quality isn't what it used to be. It looks like it only holds like a 4 gauge power/ground, and I couldn't find 1 fuse on the amp. I included some pics does anyone have anything thoughts on them?

The 3000 is the only SS not fused you just need external fusing. I have had mine for a year zero problems. This thing requires 4V+ to make the power and extra batteries. I have 2 HC3800's on a stock alt.

I have a 2V deck and it just wasn't putting out even at max volume. I bought an 6Xs and now its a totally different animal. Thats why I was saying these things beg for input voltage.

Soundstream isn't what it used to be. I believe they were bought out by the company that makes power acoustic. That being said I doubt it's a bad amp. Prolly makes closeish to rated power.
