yeah the horrible sound really ruins the vibe i want to get watching this video. Seems like it can keep up with some fast beats. Like the guy said on top of me... how does it sound to you?

it actually sounds amazing in the car, no distortion what so ever, i haven't used a DMM yet to set the gains...i will do that, but i know the gain is close to where it should be, in the vid i got volume at 41/62, i've had it up to 51 b4 and no distortion what so ever...so im happy, i want another, but that will require some upgrades, like alt, big 3 and battery...so we'll see.

shitty battery is my first guess, not sure...i haven't gotten to the dmm, but it's not distorted at all..., when i dont have the volume so high(bout 25-30) the volts really dont drop below 12..so u think i should replace batt asap? and i will get the dmm on there asap, just need to get it, it's at home.

Umm... Low +6 IS boosting the bass. It's also probably only boosting a small range of frequencies as well.

i don't think thats the case...

i'm not sure what HU he's got, but pioneers like mine need the bass to be put to +6 to get the full low freqencies signal to the amp...or so i hear...

i got mine on +6 as well, no loudness at all, and no bass boost on the amp...
