Soundstream T4-15 15" dual 1ohm

Anyone know anything about this sub? I know the company that makes them is a good company.

if its dual voice coils at 1 ohm then how would this be hooked up to a mono amp @ one ohm? wouldn't it be 0 ohms if both voice coils are hooked up?

this sub is rated at 1000wrms and 2000wrms max. any thoughts on this?

the sub couldn't be hooked up at 1 ohm. your choices are 0.5 ohm or 2 ohms

The tarantula sub? Ive looked into that before too. No one on pretty much any forum ive been on has any experience with them.

Im still thinking about picking up a single 15 just to see how they are.

all i know is that they don't handle 1600 watts, lol. collyn eastham (cs&p) ran them, but they blew up almost immediately. bridged the vga-1600's to 2ohms and pushed 1800watts to each of four type x's with no problem at all.

yeah thats the one I was going to buy. the max rating on them is 2000watts. so 1600 sounds like it was way too much. I figure 1000 to 1200 would be perfect to pump into it.

I bought an RL-p 15 D2 instead. Should have it by next tuesday.

Ive heard the t4 12's, they were pretty loud and sounded alright, not bad for the money
