What is everyones opinion if I got these subs?

id match the soundstream subs with the soundstream amp. both are good.

Will I need anything louder then this for a 2 door golf 2000.

Also would you recomend a soundstream amp for high end compenent speakers. Like focal or something.

there are better subs you can look in too, depends on how much your willing to spend, subs like Adire, RE, JBL, Sound Splinter, Ascendant Audio, ID,etc. the amps are good, yah you can use a soundstream amp for components.

get a pair of soundspinter RL-p subs, wire them to 1ohm (dual4 coils on the rl-p subs) and hook them to that vahn-goh.

a pair of 12's would work fine, they are proven to hit hard and sound great (with a proper install) and 800watts per sub is the sweet spot.

I've gotten a 400.2 and two 800.2 amps in the last couple of months and happy with them.

Those vg's are just like the rubicons. Definetly go with those subs.
