well you don't really see this in your average build lol

just goes to show how much I HATE rust, or having an awesome system in a average looking vehicle.

You taking pictures, so you know how shit goes back together??

I've taken the front of an s10 apart 2-3 times before, I pretty much know how everything is. The only thing that is confusing is the some of the electrical plugs, but I label those so its all good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

also, I bag all the nuts and bolts and label them so just to be sure ... learned that the hard way the first time

So here's a little update, I was able to get the control arm and spindle off one one side. I would have done both sides, but I have a huge exam tomorrow and I have to study for that first.

The lower control arms and spindles are being sand blasted and painted. The upper control arms, bushings, and Steering ball joint assembly is being upgraded and replaced. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

YES IT'S MESSY!! I definitely have to do a cleanup after this one, there's just so much grease and crap on the ball joints you can't help getting dirty

Here's what it looked like just before I started on the control arms

I know this isn't really anything related to the audio install, so just bear with me... I'm getting this out of the way so I don't have to worry about it after I install everything

wow that looks like a great build ,its funny cuz im also gonna do a similar build in a 04 nissan armada , using 2 ss 15,000d amps and 6 subs not sure if i will use 6 re audio xxx 18"s or ss xxx 18"s , 3 on each amp , my question is can i get by using one 15000d amp on six 18's ? or is it just better to do 2 15k amps ,on the 6 subs (one amp per 3 subs@ 1-1.5ohm each?).......i have 10 kinetik 16v batts and will currently have 2 x300 amp alts one is for car and voice and tweet amps@15.5v and the other is witha regualtor set at 17.5-18v for the 10 kinetik 16v batts , also if i use 2 x15k amps will i need 20 x16v batts to cover the power right? plus at least 6 powermaster 3100s for voice and tweet amps , i plan to use 20x12"s and 24x8's for voice and 24 compression tweets and 4 horns , i currently have 4 custom made atomic apxx 4" coil subs just bought like 3 months ago, will be sellin them they are made to hold 12,000 ea..... right now they have one ss 15,000d on all 4 at 2ohms because they are dual 1ohm each....(would be a1/2 ohm load and amp is 1 ohm stable ) and at 10,000w for all four they barely move!...... i have pics and vids

thats a lot of work man, you do it all your self? and what alt are those? also is a double alt template that hard to make

question is that the stock color blue looks really similar to my old blazers blue
it was supposed to be the stock blue but the paint place screwed the hue up and it's more purpley than the stock, it actually looks pretty cool in different lighting but now I have to get a couple things repainted now because there is a difference in the color from the stock blue

Dedication folks.....right here it is!

I wish I had time to do this....had it when I was 17 when me and my dad built a couple cars frame up....was a lot of fun, learned a ton and got to spend quailty time with my dad....good times.

Good luck!

Well these just came in yesterday...only took 2 weeks for them to come
