Soundstream Rubicon Question

Hey, i am getting my Sounsteam rubicon 1000-2 tomorrow. I have a couple of questions:

1) I have read it is 2ohm stable in mono, is this true?

2)underrated/overrated, how much power can i expect mono at 2ohms?

3)if it is underrated like most things i read, do i set gains to expected power, or rated power?

Any more tips would be appriciated.

I do understand why i would set a rated power, but what then is the advantage of an amp being underrated?

you can always set it by ear, which isnt a bad thing if you can tell when its clipping. or you can just go slightly over the rated with a dmm. its just to ensure that the amp or subs dont fry from clipping.

man, this thing is complicated! There are so many bells and whistles on this amp. It has an indicator for high power vs. high current. Does it know which one is which?

it is also hard to know the difference between all the mono settings! agghhh!
