Soundstream Rubicon 1000-2 or Kicker ZR360

I have a chance to pick up the 1000-2 this weekend from someone local for 150.

I have the ZR360 in my room, keeps popping fuses, blown.

What do you guys think?

Should I get the ZR360 repaired (good cheap techs, point out or speak up) or get the rubicon? They are both rated at 80a fusing, both old school SOLID amps. The kicker is rated at 400w @ 2ohm mono and the soundstream at 1000w @ 2ohm mono but I don't know how they will compare to each other. I have never used or heard either.

Both are great amps. My buddy had a 360 and I had a 240 back in the day. Have a 1000-2 now and love it. 1kw @ 2-4 ohms is quite nice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.

$150 is a pretty good deal on the soundstream. Personally I say sell the 360 and get the SS, just my opinion.

get the 1000-2 and use it. Repair the ZR360 and sell it for the cost of the 1000-2. Problem solved lol. I love old school Soundstream very nice amps.

How much would it cost to get this amp repaired? I have never gone through getting one repaired before.

Maybe someday I can do a complete install without changing my mind halfway through.
