Hello there.

I just brought a Soundstream PCA2.760 amp to replace my kx600.1. i am going to be running a Pioneer Premier ts-w3002spl sub with it and just wonder i am better off bridging the amp or connecting 1 channel to each voice coil? the specs are 380x2 @ 2ohm or 760x1 @ 4ohm bridged, each coil is 2ohm. also i am just using a 30$ box not ported. what type of box would you recommend for this sub?

With those Premiers and that kind of power, 2.5-3 cubic feet tuned between 32-38 hz.

You're better off bridging the amp.

another question. what gauge power wire should i use to be safe?

Pick yourself up a 4 gauge wiring kit, unless you plan on upgrading later on.

also how do i set the hpf and lpf? i am using a pioneer premier sub with this 2 channel amp.
