I always wanted one, but was a broke youngster when they were in their prime. Haven't seen one for sale or anyone running one in quite a while. There was somewhere you could still buy some soundsplinter, don't remember where it was though.

I have 2 15's in the HT, 10cubes @ 19hz for each one. They do very well off 400watts each and play down to 12Hz with authority.

I rock 2 12" rl-p's, a 12" rl-s, and bought some ss orphan 8's when he went out of business. Still one of my favorite brands and Mike was a great guy to deal with. Soundsplinter was the first forum brand I bought back in the day along with a 9.1 to run them with. Now I am stuck with TC for that type of sound and look but the lms-r just isn't to my liking. Thilo should make another regular tc-9 sub again.

lms-r imo is one of the most well suited ht subs (from tc) not really good for ca installs.

Soundsplinter is not out of business. Mike has many other projects to work on, and with the build house problems, SS is taking a break for a while. I still have my signed RL-p 12, RL-i 8 and an Orphan 8 BNIB. Both 8's were headed for little projects, but life got in the way of those builds.

I'd really like another matching d2 15" rlp. But **** they're expensive.

I know a guy doing a wall build with 3 rlp 15's
