Yeah,I do autobody work,I plan on doin new doorpanels with an 8" midbass and a 6.5" midrange,with tweeters on the dash or a-pillars,I also plan to build a 3way active x-over to fine tune them.

FYI - RL-i 8"s are subwoofers, not midbass drivers.

Yeah,I hope the SQ is impressive as well,or the time wasted on the install could end me up in the garage wit a rope around my neck,lol....Ill be running those with Audio Art power,maybe Ill use 2 RL-i 10"s in the back,the RL-p's are only available in 4ohm DVC right???

Exactly,that will bring the lows up front where they belong,on the stage....I know I said mid-bass,but I mean lower midbass/higher subbass------60hz/500hz..........then Ill use the RL-i 10"s or a single RL-p 15" for the low-lows...

Do you know what the Freq response range on them is, for some reason I believe they go rather high, but I may also be totally wrong. I know they are subs, but it maybe possible.

yeah,Im in no hurry,Itll be a while before I do the SQ thing...the reason I asked though is because the sub amp will more than likely be an Audio Art 100HC,and I hate wasting power,the 10"s would be a perfect match at 500wrms each and 4ohm DVC.

60-500 is midbass range

my RL-i8s take care of the sub bass quite well
