Whatsup yall??

Im thinkin about buyin 2 RL-i 10"s or 3 RL-i 8"s,my question is,do you guys think that either of these would be capable of 150db's in a 1992 Escort,or would I be better off going with a single RL-p??I know the i's are geared towards SQ,but so are Diamonds M6's and I seen 2 M6 10"s hit 151.Basically I want to know if they are capable of getting loud or are they strictly SQ,if so Ill go with the RL-p 12".......Man I wish they made a RL-p 10"..

No way 2 rl-i 10's would do 151 on the tl, jellyfish did a 151.1 on the AC with 2 RL-p 15's with 1.5kilowatts... thats like 146 on the TL... but they will be loud

Wow,that was fast compared to the other forums!!!

What vehicle did he have them in,mine will be going in a 1992 Escort,in a 5.5cuft box tuned high for SPL(60hz)..Also do you think that a single RL-p would get a better score??

I dont really know about the rlps, you will have to talk to jelly... iam sure he will reply soon, but an rlp is louder than the rli, the rli are sq subs while the rlps are sql, u might have a better chance with the rlps... u will have to make a perfect box.. try emailing mike and he will get back to you FAST!

It will be very tough to achevie those scores. They are not made to be SPL machines. They are a SQL driver with them leaning towards the SQ.

I have a Rl-p 15 also.

What subs would you suggest,Ive been looking at them or the DD 3510's,or maybe even some RE SX 10's.I want to stay in SLAP's Stock 0-160,and 2 10's give me more Sd than a single 12",thats why Im after 10"s.....man I really wish they made a RL-p 10",there would be no second thoughts..SLAP doesnt use the TL,right now they have the AC180 and next season they will be using the AC190 sensor,I am trying to get over a 151 atleast, like I said,I saw the Diamond M6's do a 151the RL-i look beefier than the Diamonds.

x2.. if u wanna hit 150's get 2 SX 15's and give them about 1300w each in a perfect box and with the right electrical system.

I dont need it to sound good, just hit 150 for a few seconds,I will build a SQ system when Im done in the SPL arena with 4 RL-i 8"s........1 in each door and 2 in the back.....or maybe 1 RL-i 8" in each door and an RL-p15 in the back....who knows????

No its Geneseo NY.

Ive never used a SX but I did have a HC which was its predecessor, and they are loud. As for DD now your on the right track, they get really loud. 35 series and 95 series both carry stupid amounts of SPL potential. 1 95 or 9910 got 169, but that was completely pro with tons of power.

4 rl-i 8's wont hit 150's

nooo,I will use the 8"s for the SQ system, more around 135db's,but like I said,by that time I may decide to go with 2RL-i 8"s and an RL-p 15".I may just go with the 3510's,theres no way Im droppin that kind of money for the 9510's( I really cant see myself spendin that much on the 3510's)......the RL-i's just look so massive..I may just try and see what I can get out of them...

RL-i 8"s in the doors. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif That's funny, I hope you can fiberglass.

You can probably find a used 35/95 series. Theres a ton on Sounddomain for sale.

No need to buy new DD theres enough blown out there that you can get re-coned for less.
