the car is a hyundai tiburon gt and i actually was considering either getting another 1500 or going with the 3000 later on. its definitely a possibility for me.

the id comps i am getting are the CTX65cs...i hear they are very nice for the price. should sound pretty clear and sound very nice off of the power they will get from the 125.2. of course im only gonna go passive right now.

I'd get another 1500D since you have the alum coils...

I agree or a 3500 or whatever amp. This sub can take 3000rms daily with no sweat.

yea i know with the aluminum coils they can handle the power but as with most other things, money comes into play if you catch my drift. the single 1500 was plenty for me before and its still enough for me now but that doesnt mean i wont get interested in throwing some more power on just to play around or whatever idea i may come up with. i think my next project is a sundown e8 in a sonotube enclosure for home theatre or maybe even the RL-p that i have left after my buddy ****ed the other one up...that my friends is a discussion for another day lol.

well an update on my system:

went to a local sound competition today and entered for my first time. i wound up putting up a 140.1 legal on the termlab playing throw it up. it was nice and loud but i got a number of comments from people saying that it sounds a hell of alot louder to the ear than it was on the meter which is what i was going for. vitveet's enclosure did very well for me, i could not complain if i wanted to. i would highly suggest him if you need an enclosure built for a good price.

I see what you did there. Filling the back seat with crap lowers cabin airspace and artificially increases SPL.

...or do you live out of your car?

well as it does lower cabin airspace, it also makes my car look ugly as shit in the video lol.

i dont live out of my car, just boxes from things shipped to me that i hadnt thrown away yet. had a box with a rl-p in it and a bunch of misc wire and such. also my factory sub that i didnt feel like carrying up to my 3rd floor room here on base lol. its still technically not clean but i did straighten it up a bit and got rid of one of the big boxes lol
