Sosche DB meter

Saw this at Wally World and had to pick it up. Only 25$ It sais it only goes to 130db and it reads 125 average on my Infinity Kappa Perfect 12.1 with Alpine MRV-T420 350RMS in a ported box tuned to 32hz. I have come to the conclusion that the sub is underpowered even though it is rated for 350 RMS I think it needs more. The wierd thing is that my cuz's 2 05 l5 12's in a vented prefab box with 2 audiobahn amps that supposivley push 800RMS. But when we bumo his it only sais 127 even though I can tell its way louder. Do you think its because its cheap or could his system really only be hitting 127db?

there have been numerous threads about the boom stick.

i'm currently suing sosche cause the females have told me i have the only boom stick

Of course its inaccurate, probably same as the ratshack meter that goes up to 130dbs.

But why do the cheap meters only go that high?
