Ok guys I know your sick of hearing this stuff all the time but money is so very, very hard to come by (3 kids and a wife) (did I say WIFE lol) I don't want to waste my money on something that sucks. Their are no stereo shop to listen to Sub's around my part so I get all my info from the internet. Where I can't hear the sub's. I really don't know a ton about them so I wanted to ask the pro's.

I have two 10 inch Kicker CVR's wired to 1 Ohm on a hifonics1608D and they just will not get low and rumble like I want so I am going to buy two 12 inch sub's. Now I was looking at some but not sure which to get for what I want. I was hoping to stay around $400.00 for the pair and was looking at this.

I want to hit LOW and have bass to make the ear wax fall out, don't care to much about how loud it is. Which will do this Thank you very much for the help. All are DVC 4Ohm and going to be in a sealed box with 1.12CF per side, I need a pair running on my hifonics 1608D at 1Ohm

Kicker CVX

Kicker Solo-Classic

RE Audio SR

IDQ V2

IDQ V3

Thank you all.

Sorry I wish I would have thought to say in the first post it has to be 12 inch because it is going into a 2005 Dodge Quad Cab . Not much room and I need the back seat to stay in. My two 10's fit under the seat and the 12's would also but anything larger would not fit.....thanks

Edit..... I would like to go ported but I don't have the room in this truck...room is a problem for sub's here.

so just got two r 12s then...or stick with the 10s n make a better box, cuz to get those r 12s decently loud and low ud prolly need to big of a box..at least if u still want some room in the back of that truck

Well I guess if you ask a stupid question, you will get a stupid answer. I don't have room for a big box. I can't go ported I don't have the room. I have three kids I have to keep the back truck seat. 1.12 sealed is as big as it gets.

Thanks anyway, I will try and read some old post or forms or something on the net and just decided what sounds like the best I can do.

Well, I don't know how much more I can explain it. I am not trying to sound like a *** but man, how much more can you answer a question, without answering a question. That is the whole problem, I don't know what a good Subwoofer would be. I was asking what you guys whom have XP with them, but I can't get a answer.

I can only fit a 1.12CF sealed box into my truck because I have three childeren and HAVE to keep the back seat. The 10 inch CVR's ****, I was asking for something better, hoping to stay around $400.00 dollars which I don't think is a cheap set of sub's ( I know their are far more costing subs)

I do not know much about them, I do not know what a better sub is, so saying get a better sub does not help me one bit. I know you take that as silly, and something that should be known but I have no knowledge of subwoofers.

Thank you for your time though.

1.12 sealed doesn't really translate to low... You just have to find more space to get the lows you are looking for. The Stereo Integrity BM 12s may do the trick if they ever release them seeing as they only need .5 sqft.

Thank you for the post but could someone help me to understand this? The Subs do not say that they need more air space but in truth they do need more air? Here is what is said and this is also why I picked the sub's I listed, because of the air CF they said they needed to slam.

Kicker Solo Classic .88CF

Kicker CVX 1.0CF

RE SR .90CF - 1.12CF

IDQ V2 .65CF - 1.0CF

IDQ V3 .65CF - 1.0CF

My Sub box is 1.12CF per chamber Side Which is more than all but the RE and the same as it needs.

I think what they are saying is that if you want the deep lows, you'll need to go ported so you'll need a bigger box. I am stuck in the SAME situation with my SRT4. I only have a total of 2.75-3ft3 for a pair of subs and I want it LOUD.... well, it sounds like enough space but once you start putting subs and ports in it, it shrinks FAST... so I decided to stick with sealed. If you stick with sealed and go to specs, the lows just arent there like a larger ported box...

What you want, and what you have to work with are opposites...

Maybe if you asked, what is the best sub for deep bass in a sealed enclosure...

Even then, on this site, most of the responses are gonna be something stupid like, just make a box that's 2.5ft3 and port it.... dumb
