You are seriously retarded, you should probably buy a prebuilt PC.

On a serious note if you want help your going to have to provide a lot more than that. What do you mean you got a hold of windows 7 from your friend? Pirated copy? Legit? If pirated, what kind of crack was it? Do you know where he got it from? etc.

Generally when pirating an OS it's better to find a good well supported torrent with lots of comments from people who have successfully used it. Not just whatever your buddy has...Also if your buddy has successfully used this copy why not ask him?

Hah I know I'm computer illiterate it's a pirated copy of windows 7 aio all the windows? I chose 86x ultimate he knows what he's talking about and it's a legit copy he's also a computer nerd. But I need some sort of login info which I have no clue what it is I start up my comp and it takes me straight to the login screen which I can't pass but theres a button that ease of access I push it and nothing happens.

When you installed windows it should have asked you what you want your username to be and if you want a password or not. Have you tried logging in without typing any password? What does the username say?

Than what I have no computer to upload with ha..!
Well bud then the only thing I can tell you is somehow you messed up with the installation. Either that or the copy your using sucks. You could try reinstalling or find a new copy. I don't know what else to tell ya...

Eh?

Ha I guess you prefer windows. What's a good site to get a cheap but beastly computer? I get discounts at Dell so I'll probably be checking what they have to offer.
Plz don't buy a Dell...build your own cheapest, or have someone else custom build you one, PowerPC.com and ibuypower.com pretty good sitez

Translation: If your not comfortable spending hours learning MS-DOS type commands then stick to a GUI based OS like Windows.
I've tried Linux in the past but I just don't see the point. I've found that most linux users only use it because they hate Windows and Mac, not because they love linux.
while true as i absolutely abhor windows because of several reasons which i wont get into here; I enjoy Linux because it is free, a challenge to learn and way more powerful than one may think.

BTW, it is not all command line, things like gentoo sure are more aimed at developers and the like, but the GNOME desktop is really good and so is KDE. A nice alternative IMO. If you were having issues command line wise, perhaps your X server was not started or could not start hence why everything was still command line for you. If you want, you can check out Ubuntu which is very user friendly and probably one of the most popular distros out there which translates to lots of support.
